Oval ruby in a baguette rosette

An oval ruby, deep and closed in color, sits at the center of a rosette that opens in two tiers: round brilliants on the inside, baguettes fanning out along the edge. It is the most theatrical piece in the collection and the one that changes the hand wearing it. The drawing comes straight from the cocktail rings of the fifties, when volume was the whole point.
